You're right, no need for Air America now that people are seeing the light. And when you listen to Hannity now you realize he's not converting anyone, just preaching to the choir because they need reassurance during a difficult time, a time where they realize their heros might all be swept out of power and into infamy.

I don't want to listen to angry talk radio anymore even if it is liberal and I don't like Bush. Sounds like Air America is overdoing the anger and neglecting the entertainment. I've only read reviews and it appears their problem is they just aren't any good. Franken appears to the ONLY talent they have. When the blue state people feel "dumped on" ala Bush, where their concerns are ignored and they are ripped off, voila here comes Air America radio. Air America didn't arise spontaneously to satisfy market demand. They are bankrolled by a handful of wealthy people. Conservative talk radio is a money-making proposition not something run on charity. (Does Franken do commercials on air for stuff like mattresses and flooring?) Conservative success in talk radio is based on a massive desire for news / current events analysis that is an alternative to the mainstream liberal media.
