I am certain huge numbers of republicans will go down in congress, in the case of congress it is mostly the economy and jobs situation and a callous attitude towards unemployment extensions and other programs (while the republican congress was spending on pork like no tomorrow) that will bring them down.

None of the democratic "targets" the GOP was gunning for are vulnerable anymore either. My senator Barbara Boxer is supposedly GOP enemy #1 and she is so far ahead she is redirecting money to Kerry.

The republicans who want to keep their jobs are already dumping their agenda in favor of the democratic agenda too. The overtime rules for example, and the canadian drugs coming down.
