Who knows what this person is talking about, but these few lines from her interview speak volumes.

in November we will have a Democratic president of the United States, one who can restore our national reputation for our country and grow our economy at home to create jobs. And we will have a Democratic Congress. We will have Tom Daschle as the majority leader of the Senate, and I'll be proud to be the first woman speaker in the history of our country when the Democrats take back the House of Representatives.

I think she's consulting the stars.

MEET THE PELOSI PRESS:

TIM RUSSERT: Nancy, what personal sacrifice will you make to insure the election of John Kerry as the next president of the United States?

NANCY PELOSI: I GUARANTEE YOU right here and now that I will never have another face lift under a Republican president.

And I have one scheduled for February, 2005. Under no circumstances will I cancel that scheduled
appointment.

TIM RUSSERT: And what if Bush wins?

NANCY PELOSI: As I said before, Tim, I will refrain from having another face lift as long as we have to suffer under the incompetent leadership of a Republican president. President Bush is a nice man. But he is an incompetent Republican. A nice man would never disappoint a nice lady like me. Bush will, therefore, refrain from winning because he knows how much I have a stake in his defeat.

TIM RUSSERT: Thank you, Nancy. I truly appreciate the interview and thank you for your profound insights regarding what is right and wrong for the nation.
