Anti Nixon sentiment helped the democratic party. Same as anti Bush will help the nation and the party.

The anti Clinton stuff about sex backfired because a bunch of republicans got caught with their zippers down too, or behaving cad like to their women, such as Gingrich did.

In the case of Anti Bush, Americans want accountability. So far the number of mistakes that have occurred on Bush's watch are piling up like cord wood. So far not one person has had to accept responsibility. Eventually the responsibility will fall to voters to clean up the mess that the president, and ultimately congress let sit in the refrigerator getting smellier by the day.

Gee whiz the list of errors and cover ups is so long...I won't even try to type them here. And that list grows everyday...

Democrats are not accusing Bush of murder, rape and drug-running. They are accusing him of mismanagement, lying about Iraq and WMD's, going AWOL, being in bed with gas and health care gougers, allowing too much pollution, massive deficit spening and basically being too much of a kiss-ass to the far right.

All these things are true. So the charges stick.
