Hi Amy, Exactly. Looking to write covered/naked calls and puts on certain stock I know about. As I'm getting more used to doing this and learning more about it (I've been doing it with some success the last 6 months), I want to know more about volatility, premiums, etc. I've been playing with correlating stock prices with market indices, and looking at the beta or R-squared.

Just curious if other people are looking specifically at volatility in terms of WHEN to write options.
