TraderC there are other factors other than income and wages.

1) interest rates
2) adjustable rate loans
3) easy credit standards
4) ability to borrow down payments
5) supply and demand
6) bubble logic and panic buying
7) wages
8) overall debt levels

I made that post for comments

Now, do I think California is in a bubble and prices will crash. Yes. When, I do not know. But as I just showed and I bet you agree with many of them even if you think my take on CA real estate is wrong, that there are all kinds of factors other than just income that will determine housing prices.
