I don't use MSN, but for users, microsoft offers the following:

"Open your e-mail without having to worry about viruses With MSN Premium Get 2 Months FREE"

This is message is attached to hotmail users and terminates e-mail messages. What incentive is there for microsoft to control viruses when they can make money off of it? As a matter of fact, I would go further to state that they are in conflict of interest.

Why doesn't microsoft offer this free, as it is their system that is being attacked?

It's all about money!
