Your response is possibly the most egregious use of selective quoting that I have ever seen on SI. And that is saying A LOT. Try reading that again. It is clear that Glaspie did in fact urge and expect SH to use peaceful methods to resolve the dispute and did express US concern about Iraqi troop concentrations along the Kuwait border.

Twist as you will, the facts remain the facts.
