I saw the movie on Friday. Other than the special effects, which were standard hollywood fare....nothing I hadn't seen already (although the ship floating down a NYC street was pretty cool)the story line and script was silly. The audience groaned occasionally, but were very quiet for the most part. A few young people clapped at the end of the movie......but only a few. Overall it was a really stupid movie. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that the president was killed and the Cheney look alike VP ended up president. What message was that trying to send? It was so absurd, it makes me wonder if the intention was to make environmental activists.....led by Al Gore....to look as wacko as they really are? IMO it was a slap in the face. ;) M
