Based on what you're telling me, I think those sellers in the old Bay Area may need to lower their prices.

If they are not willing to lower the prices sufficiently, then maybe they are not really interested in selling. They may just want to see if they can fish a sucker into buying an over-priced property.

I see over-priced listings everywhere. It's not just a Bay area phenomenon.

San Mateo and Santa Clara counties are both up over 11% from last year. Aren't they part of the traditional Bay Area?
