RE:"Remember the '68 Dem convention/police riot? Remind me to tell you about it sometime."

I remember it well. You kind of remind me of Daly.
Man, has the Democratic party changed since then.

Rather ironic.

Hi John, what happened during it? Why were there riots? Just curious.

On another note, it's amazing Congress passed legislature that didn't include a clause specifying a right for a mother to remain alive. Fortunately, a judge declared such legislature unconstitutional, so it now looks like a pregnant women that's in a car accident causing shock and hemorraging, now has the right to remain alive and not be murdered by forcing her to have more blood loss, according to this here:
story.news.yahoo.com

"Generally, abortions after the "point of viability" are performed only to preserve the mother's health."

"Kerry spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee voted to restrict late-term abortions when the measure contained a "clear exception for life or health of women."

I donated money to their efforts for ensuring the right of a mother to remain alive, because without a clear exception clause for life or health of the mother, it's a murderous law. Such a simple clause too. It's beyond me why they didn't include it.
