I can't believe that people actually look for ways
to blame the U.S. for SH invasion of Kuwait.
He was "lead" to believe it would be okay as the
U.S. had "no position" on the matter.

Good grief!
I guess SH was a model citizen of the world and
only f'ed up because of insidious U.S. influence.

Why does no one blame SH for his own missteps?

The real irony is that these same people who
blame the U.S. for the Gulf War won't even
acknowledge the role of France and Germany
in the current war.

It is certainly not far fetched to suggest that
back door dealing between these countries and
SH lead SH to believe that an invasion would
not occur because they would nix UN support.

But, oh no!
Can't attribute anything but pure motives
to the French and Germans.

We're the only wrongdoers.

I don't get it.
