It certainly appears you haven't. Tell me, what's the distance from DC to LA? Now compare that to the distance from Norwich to Hereford, or Dublin to Galway, or Berlin to Munster, or even Torino to Naples. It's a long way to Tipperary - but not from Limerick. Ring up some bloke from the good old days and ask him how much petrol he consumed last month. Compare the rail system of Europe to the rail system of the US. Ever take the airport express train from Bourbon Street to MSY? I know - no such animal. Now consider the Heathrow Express - Heathrow to London Paddington in 15 minutes, every 15 minutes, or the Gatwick Express - 30 minutes from London Victoria to Gatwick. (Next time you're near Victoria Station dine at the Sekara; you won't be disappointed.) CC
