"For the foreseeable future, there will be discrimination of many forms on this planet. Its a given. So its time for the Israelis/Jews to stop equating everything that happens to them to that one factor."

Easy for you to say! For sure your not black or jewish, I can tell. lol

And, of course, its better and easier for Muslims.

"The Holocaust was over 50 years ago......its time to move on."

Your a sad case.

Sad because I won't allow you or anyone else to beat me over the head with the Holocaust so that I will agree to whatever Israel wants or does?

The Holocaust was the worst of several horrific events that have a occurred throughout history. None of us should ever forget them and the implications behind their horror. At the same time, I do not want to make decisions today based on what happened 50 years ago nor do I want to be coerced into a position out of guilt.

"Endorsing the aspirations of the PA is to side with the Israelis demise? Such hogwash......you all have been feeding that tripe to us for decades now."

You really don't know what your are talking about. I am a former PA supporter, as were many jewish people and Israeli acquaintances of mine and, of course, many others people too. A lot of people believed in Oslo.

Its too bad Netanyahu and the Likud did not believe in Oslo. In fact, today, Netanyahu is trying to undermine the Israeli withdrawal out of Gaza.

Suicide bombing, disclosures of massive corruption among Arafat and his cronies changed my view as it did for others. Hamas's and other groups' unequivocal mandate to destroy Israel also affects my opinion. Don't tell me your a revisionist too?

I have said repeatedly I don't like the current players on either side. For a long time, I sided with the Israelis......I can no longer do that. I also believe the American position favors Israel at the expense of the peace process and our relationships with the Muslim world.

There is more at stake than just Israel and its time to acknowledge that fact.

"I want ... the US to play a more neutral role in this feud."

Neutrality is siding with the Arabs, but you don't see that, because history has no meaning for you. People, such as yourself, that suggest civilization's greatest murderous achievement is of no consequence because 50 years has gone by are certain to allow such atrocities to occur again.

You are very biased or you would realize that neutrality is not siding with the Arabs. I hope you are not American because you are compromising what's best for American foreign policy over your unstinting support for all things Israeli.

That's not the appropriate mindset for these times.
