I read the story in the Post.

I think most people, regardless of what side of the political spectrum they are from, judging from what I've read, support the individual men and women who serve, and honor the dead from all our wars and police actions. Criticizing policy is criticizing the leaders of nations who make policy, and who send men and women to war, it is not criticizing the men and women who serve. And looking in to facts about war, and about what happens in war, is not usually about debasing our service people's efforts (except in the case of wrong doing- and if there is wrong doing, I would think we would want to know about it. Or at least I can say that I would want to know about it.)
