well that is what the Saudis have promised, and so they wont dissapoint will they? as for the tepid performance , the OSX is struggling with breaking out of two huge LT triangles, (one remains overhead) and one would expect that these will not fall lightly: the sky is the limit if they do

This constant drumbeat about oil, gasoline, and OPEC is MoP designed to draw attention away from other equally important aspects of the Train Wreck: specifically food, metals, and the other generally ignored sub-energy groups, nat gas and coal. The real energy problem will be when electric generation rips through huge amounts of both coal and nat gas over the next few weeks as we head into summer.

This will be a crisis situation, that will just pile on everything else. OPEC sending us an extra few hundred thousands barrels of oil a day will do little to cure it. It's really the wrong focus.

FH, I've had 3 meetings in the past 2 days where folks have tried to ram that consensus down my throat. I am so convinced by their bearishness on oil that I am buying June calls on E&P cos. Not only will they be wrong, they will be wrong before the third week in June.
