LOL. Can you imagine the thought process?

(While filing his lawsuit:) "Women'll LOVE me when they see this!"

Digging a little further, this "David Gillespie" is even more of a twit than one may originally fathom. It's not a recent case, it's been dragging on since 1998 and the club even offered him a refund:

(excerpts):
_____

nj.com

"The trouble at Coastline -- a sprawling restaurant that seats 450 and
attracts large weekend crowds -- began in 1998, when a patron, David
Gillespie, complained about having to pay a $5 cover charge on a
Wednesday night, which was Ladies Night.

(...)

Mourtos (the bar owner), who received calls yesterday from media as far away as London,
said Gillespie was offered a refund after he complained but he refused it.
Gillespie could not be reached yesterday for comment."
________

Six years litigating a five-dollar cover charge?! I thought "squeezing a quarter till the fawkin' eagle screams" was just a figure of speech.
