The evidence was there for quite a long time. I saw it ages ago, but was too emotionally attached to the country to flatly admit it. I still hold out hope that America is not doomed. But I know it is a false hope - a fool's hope. She can't possibly stand against the tidal wave roaring toward her. I don't see the country being invaded and conquered in the old way. I see she will just whither away into something irrelevant, oppressive, that everyone hates, but that no one can fix-- something like the former Soviet Union, but without the wall. Oops. Gotta run - pleasure and thanks for the compliment and help.
