Anybody that calls it AWOL only proves that they personally never served in the Military in any capacity whatsover especially the Reserves. AWOL is a term that applies to the Army on Active Duty. AWOL does not apply to somebody in the Air Force in the Reserves. In the Navy its called UA for unauthorized absence. The Navy doesn't use the AWOL term either. Another Navy term is missing movement, e.g. you missed your ship when it left port. Again none of this applies. In the Reserves, you make up your own drill schedule, drill when you can during the year. If you don't achieve 48 drills during the year, you don't get a good year towards retirement. If you don't do a minimum of like 12 drills you might be transferred to the individual ready reserves from the selected drilling reserves. The biggest thing I can emphasize is that the Reserves are 100% flexible to civilian employment. You can reschedule drills for various reasons including civilian employment conflicts. If you change jobs and move across country like from Boston to Texas and you have a reserve commitment, you can affiliate with a new unit when you are settled in. When I moved, I waited a fully year before reaffiliating. No big deal and I served 8 more years in the reserves after that.

AWOLBUSH.com has all the raw evidence, no spin on it at all. They also have opinion, but you can skip that part if you want. Just look at the actual documents proving Bush disappeared in 1972 and was unaccounted for. Also of interest the fact he couldn't fly a Cessna in 1976, never flew again and skiped his drug test physical. All relevant in terms of exposing him as a phony when he prances on air-craft carriers with real pilots pretending to be one of them.
