No, Chinu, that's not so. Harry Truman and John F Kennedy had political philosophies more akin to today's GOP beliefs. They were very strong on national defense and would never have criticized the President's foreign policy during wartime, no matter which party was in the WH. That's oceans from the attitude of the Dems today. They believe foreign heads of state and terrorists before they believe their own Pres. That was not the case in the days when the Dem Party was great.
