Sorta kinda... the Jews were definitely a special case, as they were singled out nearly every place they went -- think about the Spanish Inquisition, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, pogroms, etc...

There are a number of facts that have been ignored........conveniently. The founding of Israel has some interesting parallels to the founding of this country. In both, there were native peoples who had worked/lived on the land for centuries. Then came along the Europeans who had a manifest destiny to fulfill. Something had to be done with regards to the pesky natives people. For the US, killing them off through disease and warfare proved to be the answer after first making some feeble attempts to pay them off.

The Zionists were more careful and were willing to pay a little more initially. But in the end, it became an issue of survival of the fittest and the richest and the more influential with a few terrorists acts thrown in for good measure to insure that the Brits and the Arabs got the message loud and clear.

Flash forward two hundred years for one; and 50 years for the other.........and what we hear about is the struggle and the hardships and the perseverance and the fierce determination and the heroism and the nasty natives peoples who kept getting in the way and trying to ruin everything.

For years, I had thought that the decimation of the Indians in this country had happened because they kept attacking the Europeans and that the Europeans had valiantly fought back against these horrific savages.

It wasn't until last fall that I learned most of the Indians died because of exposure to European diseases. It turns out that Indians had never used pack animals like the Europeans and did not have the immunity that the Europeans had built up for diseases that originated in pack animals.

In the end, we have to realize that that's how life works. However, I refuse to support the current garbage that goes on in Israel today. And I particularly do not want my tax dollars paying the Israelis a subsidy so that they can have the finest war machine second to the US in the world.
