in a statement released Feb 9, the BOJ announced total forex securities repo purchases from the Foreign Exchange Special Account were JPY5.14 trillion.
boj.or.jp

a month later, the figure had risen more than JPY1 trillion (USD91 billion), thru Feb 29, to JPY6.1489 trillion.
boj.or.jp

since then, BOJ has not made further repo purchases via FESA.

latest figure (same JPY6.1489 trillion) was May 13 announcement, thru April 30.
boj.or.jp

i expect this figure would start to change significantly if there is currency intervention.
