"how come you people had not problem at all releasing the transcripts of what happened between Clinton and Monica, but you're not so hot in releasing pictures of prisoner abuse?

What 'you people' are you referring to? I for one was disgusted by the in depth coverage of the Clinton/Lewinski affair and absolutely did not care to know, hear, or be confronted with the details every time I looked at TV or opened a news paper.

I was angered by the thought that my representative thought he could point his finger into a national tv camera and lie to me. I was further frustrated when he thought he could skirt the truth with a smirk on his face with the comment, "depends what the definition of 'is' is." Even more was my shock that people supported him by suggesting we should wink at a president's behavior in using the oval office to victimize private citizens, who have accused him of assault, abuse, and rape.

My representatives are under contract and oath to represent ME with forthright and unveiled honesty. I do not consider military operations, or intelligence, as something that must be presented in public or to me personally. I also do not see it necessary for me to know anything about the personal businesses of my representatives. However, I expect the laws and policies that have been established to be followed in office. When, for what ever reason, they decide to provide information to me I expect it to be truthful.

I do want to know what the investigation uncovers regarding prisoner abuse. I do not need to see the juicy pictures, nor do I see that as a benefit to any human being outside of the investigators. I consider it further abuse for the guards to have taken pictures of prisoners that they were abusing. The only reason for that is to further the abuse by publishing them whether to friends or to the public. It was, at a minimum, the most extreme form of invasion of privacy and at a maximum a form of rape.
