Don't be fooled. You should be blaming the following people for the stock bubble of the late 90s:

WALL STREET for their STRONG BUYs and IPO hypes.

SEC for their incredible lack of enforcement action.

CONGRESS for doing virtually nothing thereafter, and

INVESTING PUBLIC for not doing their research before buying, and not pushing for more enforcement action.

I agree that the late 90s was a bubble. But trying to lay all the blames on the Fed is just ridiculous. The Fed did a great job IMO.
