zonkie, I get a great kick out of the stole the election mantra. Algore wanted a selective recall that he thought would allow him to "steal" the election. Had he asked for a full state recall you might have had a point.

The only thing the Supreme Court did was put an end to an endless recount process. The newspapers proved afterwards that no matter how you did the recount, and Gore wanted to try every single combination until he won, Gore still came up short. So even if the Supreme Court said, keep recounting, Gore still would have lost.
