I suppose those of us who criticize Kerry's "over the top" characterization of his testimony are just being picky. Afterall, he merely made the accusation that most U.S. soldiers committed daily atrocities while in Vietnam. His fellow swift boat officers have all condemned his statements to the congress, and said they never saw any of the outrageous actions he claimed happened every day.

Kerry wanted to win elected office at the time, so he said what he thought the screaming liberals from Mass wanted to hear. What is he saying today that is "over the top", in order to win this election?
