I'm not very happy with the deficit spending either. The automatic government spending engine is constantly going, so when the economy even slows, not even talking negative growth here, revenues drop and deficits explode. It also doesn't help to have needs for additional discretionay spending at the same time. Its out of control and there is nothing that will stop it except financial disaster when they can't suck any more revenue out of people and spending continues to grow.
