I'm glad we went.

I'm not. A thousand dead Americans and more dying every day.

And ten thousand dead Iraqis

Do you think the families of all those dead people are "glad we went?" What about the families of the "lucky" wounded who only lost an arm or leg or eyesight? Are they all "glad we went?"

Today, the Army announced that all servicepeople eligible to retire or be discharged are now forced to remain in the Army.

They have been told over and over that they are just about to be shipped home. I will go out on a limb here and venture to guess that not all of them are still "glad we went."

Hopefully, we'll never see 400,000 Americans dead in the war on terror as we did in WW2.

This is not WWII. Saddam is not Hitler. This is a stupid and pointless war.
