Jim, re: The Democratic party, now a days, is way far left of what it was then and the Republican party today is much more like the Democratic party was back then, IMHO. I disagree. I think the Democrats have moved to the center. The Republicans are much harder to classify. You've got the traditional conservatives, you've got your religious right, and you've got your neocons. The traditionals have probably moved closer to the center, the religious have moved farther right, and the neo's, IMHO, are from outer space when if comes to principles. If Bush loses this election, it might be because the traditional conservatives vote Kerry or not at all. Bush is anything but a traditional conservative. john
