Over 50 years ago, General Douglas MacArthur did not expect Communist Chinese to enter the Korean War.

When they did, they entered in overwhelming fashion, and the 1st Marine Div was almost annihilated at the frozen Chosin Reservior.

Over time, economy can be healed. But once you lose a piece of land, like when Russia sold Alaska to USA, it's gone for good.

Right now, US and China are like playing chess. Nobody is saying anything while each side is busy putting his pieces in place.
