Thomas, RE: "I didn't say anything about the government. I said it was suppressed by the media."

Same thing. Washington Post is the mouth piece of the government. How else do you think they get inside news from the govt if they don't comply? We do not have a free press in the USA. It's a myth.

The WSJ wrote an article saying they were indeed art students. I will never automatically trust what the WSJ says again. I met the so-called "art students" myself and so did people at my company, and let me tell you, art students do not ask you questions about your technology, let alone have the skillsets to do so. Nor do they ask you for the function of your company, other companies in the area (military), how far back do your offices go, and the dimensions of your building - spooky! They also don't try to physically charge past you to get to your back offices when you tell them you are in stealth mode. It's very rattling to read something that's incorrect from a branded newspaper that I respected and trusted. It makes you wonder where else the WSJ is wrong?

What's really strange is Fox News ran the article, then pulled it down.

Salon's article is still up there.

Then again, Salon wasn't asked to board Air Force One to Iraq, meanwhile Fox was asked.

RE: "That's a very naive statement. Remember the Lavon Affair? The USS Liberty? Operation Northwoods is a domestic example of something that doesn't "make sense"."

I'm not familiar with these. Can you describe them? If there is some type of historical pattern, then the USA govt needs to investigate it and act on it.

RE: "Since Israel has the White House phones tapped, I'd say you are closing the barn door after the horses have gotten out."

If Israel's govt is tapping Clinton and Monica, so what. But I would have serious issue if a foreign govt steals technology without asking or paying for it - because technology is the horse, not the barn door.

It's time the USA govt completes their investigation on this and starts providing some hard answers. And if Israel's govt is doing some bad stuff, the USA govt needs to respond accordingly.

For our govt to deport the Israeli "art students" that were spying on govt military areas (let alone technology companies), without charging them with espionage, is beyond me. It creates a trust issue - how can we trust our govt to protect us?

Regards,
Amy J

Israel has the White House phones tapped[.]

Do you have (credible) evidence backing this assertion?
