Oh I agree that this year is the time for all to review the decisions of the past years.

When is the last time you voted for someone you truly wanted rather then the lesser of 2 evils. I've voted both sides of the ticket so I know it is true of myself. I truly wanted Reagan but that would be it.

I agree that the present process sucks ..
but how to fix it ??

Maybe a single six year term for the presidency ..
That would eliminate a lot of the 'pork' in the
current re-election process .. It's long enough
to institute real reforms for whichever party is
in power .. it would foster greater continuity in
policy both domestic and foreign .. and in case
we elect a real jerk we still have power of removal
from office via impeachment .. just an idea ..
