Murali,

Total arm sales from the USA to Iraq, during the Iran/Iraq war, were roughly $200 million. Almost all for helicopters that were originally purchased for "civilian use", but actually used by the Iraqi military. This is roughly the same (actually a little less) as Denmark's arms sales to Iraq. During the Iran/Iraq War, Chinese and French arms sales to Iraq were both roughly $5,000 million. And arms sales from the Soviet Union were over $20,000 million.

If there is blood on American hands, for supplying Saddam's war with Iran; How much blood is on the hands of the Russians, Chinese and French (and they were all willing to keep Saddam in power 10-20 years later)?

re: "How conveniently you can wash your hands off that blood stained misadventure, eh ? The support you gave to Saddass during those years against Iran ?"
