Moving bulldozers tend to be surrounded by large piles of moving dirt. You better be able to predict which way the dirt is going to fall, and Rachel Corrie didn't do it right. She was hit by a falling pile of dirt, not by the bulldozer.

I did not see "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery", so don't get the reference.

I did represent a trucking company in a case where a woman pulled out in front of an enormous, fully loaded dump truck in slow moving traffic and was rear-ended by the driver, who explained that sitting high up as he was, he simply could not see her.
