Thomas, RE: "The risks in these operation did not faze the perpetrators."

It's hard to tell what's what in those articles, they appear one-sided, and some happened so long ago. Having said that, given the recent Israeli "art students" that were spying on the USA, our govt should really take a firm stand so as to not encourage more of it.

RE: "If Israel's govt is tapping Clinton and Monica, so what. Wow. Tom "

Go back to your post. Hint: you used the word barn door. My humor tends to be subtle, apparently sometimes too subtle. As a guy, you should have gotten the joke that any tapping of Clinton and Monica wouldn't have had any value for anyone. Clinton has something in common with a barn door.

On a serious note, it's more threatening to this country if technology is stolen or copied. I think technology is more important to safety, than barn door politicians. Granted, I live in Silicon Valley not DC, so have my bias about what's more important. But I think Washington is completely out to lunch in the 21st century, what, with a 25% decrease enrollment in engineering which is really the future source of a country's security, meanwhile sports players are honored more than engineers in our society.

Regards,
Amy J
