Also don't forget that there should be some muting of the requirement seen necessary by the Fed to raise interest rates to slow the economy. That is, if oil were still $32/bbl and the economy were humming the Fed would be aggressive in raising rates. However, now, with oil prices acting like a natural brake on the rate of economic growth, the Fed may be in a little more relaxed frame of mind about it. If so, remember that probably close to two rate hikes have already been priced in. We may have a lessening of the markets mania about rates, although I imagine it will still get choppy as the June meeting draws nigh. Jess
