And what if (I'm not saying that this is necessarily the case) that the only way that is acceptable to them is that there's no Israel?

The Israelis have a lower thresh hold for pain.


Then it would be easier to push them to the brink. They would still be pushed to the brink before they would be defeated.

That's rather vague. "What's acceptable to them" is different for different Palestinians, and can change over time.

Since I do not mean what you mean by the Palestinians winning in this conflict I'll change the term to "Palestinians defeating Israel". Its possible (if not likely in the short run) that the Palestinians can get a settlement they find acceptable. It is almost impossible for them to simply impose a settlement by defeating Israel.
