You seem to think that the two candidates military service is an important campaign issue just like ann does barebush so i'll ask you the question too. Based solely on their military service (junior from the Air National Guard and Kerry from the Navy) which of the two candidates do you think looks more presidential?

You're lying again. Kerry got three Purple Hearts so he automatically had the option of going home. Purple Hearts are given out by the top brass. Not because the wounded person asks for them or lobbies for them. A military guy I talked to told me he'd never heard of anyone asking for a Purple Heart in his many years in the military. Kerry didn't ask for his either. ANyone who is wounded, minor or major, usually gets a Purple Heart. Three wounds and you're a free man. So blame military policy if you want. But Kerry went way beyond the call of duty.

Speaking of 8 months early, Bush admitted he got off Guard duty 8 months early (after goijng AWOL for 7 months) to go to Harvard. With a war still going on. Boy, was that important for national security.

Tax-payers spent all that money training him and he went AWOL then bolted early on top of it. Bushies should never bring up someone leaving the military early. Kerry left combat with over 20 kills ands three wounds. Bush left being AWOL for Harvard because of his last name. Huge difference.
