How Kerry would have reacted on 911. I've read enough Kerry Spirit posts to be able to figure that out.

Upon hearing about the first plane hitting the tower, Kerry would have leapt to his feet, saying "I'm out of here, kids. I've got a country to defend." When he reached the limo, he'd have yanked the driver out and jumped behind the wheel himself. Then he would have sped to the airport to board Air Force One. Taking control of the plane, he'd have flown at supersonic speed and reached the skies over New York while the second hijacked airliner was still a half mile from the Tower (I learned that Democratic Presidents aren't bound by the same time and logistical constraints as Republicans from you, zonkie.) Turning over the controls to the regular pilot, he would have grabbed the automatic weapon from one of his slow and clumsy Secret Service agents, explaining, "I'm going to need this more than you, you son of a bitch." Then he'd have thrown on a parachute, opened a door on the side of Air Force One and leaped from the plane, deploying his parachute so that he ended up directly in front of the hijacked airliner approaching the second tower. The terrorist in the cockpit would have fled in terror seeing Kerry approaching. It would have done him little good, however, as Kerry shot out the cockpit's window. Skillful manipulation of his parachute would have allowed Kerry to land directly in the cockpit, where he'd immediately have chased the terrorist into the interior of the plane where he would have dispatched him and his comrades. Then he would have dashed back to the airplane's controls and steered it to a safe landing.

"Now that's a President", all Americans would say.
