The info I provided on the "wall" quoted Stewart Baker, "general counsel of the National Security Agency in the early years of the Clinton administration." I'd think he ought to be acceptable even to a Democrat as an independent and authoritative source of opinion. And his opinion, as stated in Slate in December 2003, was that "on Sept. 11, 2001, that wall probably cost us 3,000 American lives."

Do you know of a good reason why a person like him should be disbelieved?

The "Center for National Security Studies" is a radical leftist organization which sued the DOJ to get Arabs detained shortly after 911 released.

I'm amazed that sane people could be persuaded that Ashcroft and the Bush administration are bigger dangers than the people who perpetrated the 911 attack and want to commit more such attacks.
