Al, I've noticed moments of near clarity. Few and far between. It will be interesting to see how this "tranfer" unfolds at the end of the month. I'm trying to be optimistic that it could work out. Bush is making what appears to be sincere efforts to involve the UN and our allies, and seems to have been stung by the results from the neo-idiots that surround him. I think he finally want's out of Iraq. But I'm probably just falling for the "compassionate conservative" clothing that he's pulling out of the closet for the election. If he gets reelected he will be back to the cowboy boots and the "bring them on" crap. John
