Hewitt is right. Democrats have become unhinged. From a "Village Voice" theatre review.

Republicans don't believe in the imagination, partly because so few of them have one, but mostly because it gets in the way of their chosen work, which is to destroy the human race and the planet. Human beings, who have imaginations, can see a recipe for disaster in the making; Republicans, whose goal in life is to profit from disaster and who don't give a hoot about human beings, either can't or won't. Which is why I personally think they should be exterminated before they cause any more harm.

<<this is precisely the kind of thing that gives secularism a bad name>>

Amen. Suits of this kind are definitely unhelpful.

Volokh also reasonably wonders where this crusade will go next.

This got me to wondering if crosses were used as grave markers at Military Cemeteries in America. Someone was really thinking when the rules where made regarding headstones in Military Cemeteries.

The ACLU could certainly object to markings on Robert C. Williamson's head stone. cem.va.gov

Maybe they'll look into it?

Here is the National Military web site:

cem.va.gov

And a web site dedicated to Military cemeteries overseas.

abmc.gov

Good thing the ACLU doesn't have jurisdiction.....well....depending on your perspective.
