Valley Girl I also like your post. However, most Christians I know and the Right-Wing Christians who make up a large part of Bush's power base believe that only Born-again Christians who accept Jesus as their savior will get to heaven. No Ifs, Ands, or Buts about it. I think you are in a minority. Check the statistics. Myron

One thing I can't understand is why believers in the major monotheistic religions don't get along - after all, God is God, and most of the rest is detail. I think we all can give a big "amen" to that and the only battle that should be fought over religion is a non-violent spiritual one waged in a marketplace of religious ideals.. Unfortunately, the "devil" is in the details.. Hawk
