Left to it's own devices,
A fetus needs a womb to become a baby.
Both potential and environment must be in place or it is just a bunch of cells like the other hundreds of trillions of cells on this planet.

Left to it's own devices, a fetus would become a human, with a mind, soul, and their own life.

You have made an intellectually dishonest argument. A fetus has to be fed. Plants and animals must be slaughtered to keep a human being alive.
