Ann, you're lying again. Kerry was a much bigger war hero than JFK or Bush Sr. JFK got run over by a Japanese destroyer. Bush Sr. bailed on his plane mates and crashed, surviving but possibly costing the lives of his gunner and navigator. Neither one succeeded in their mission and both went down.

Kerry on the other hand had one of the most superlative records in Vietnam with over 20 kills credited and was the #1 leader of swift boats up the Mekong, a very dangerous place to be. He more than deserved his Silver and Bronze Stars. Just as the men who fought with him. And not the fat Republican officers back at the base.

well you can compare the intellect....
This is a poem made up entirely of actual quotations from George W.
Bush. They have been arranged only for aesthetic purposes, by Washington
Post writer Richard Thompson.

MAKE THE PIE HIGHER
by George W. Bush

I think we all agree, the past is over.
This is still a dangerous world.
It's a world of madmen and uncertainty
and potential mental losses.
Rarely is the question asked,
Is our children learning?
Will the highways of the internet
become more few?

How many hands have I shaked?
They misunderestimate me.
I am a pitbull on the pantleg
of opportunity.

I know that the human being
and the fish can coexist.

Families is where our nation finds hope,
where our wings take dream.

Put food on your family!
Knock down the tollbooth!
Vulcanize Society!
Make the pie higher!
Make the pie higher!

You can't compare John Kerry's character with that of John Kennedy or George Bush.

I didn't. Nor would I put Bush in the same category as Kennedy. Bush is secretive and stealthy. He is motivated by ideologues. He neither reads books or newspapers. He is not a moral president and certainly his character has got to be called into question in regards to the Plame case and Abu Gharib. Bush is not even in the same league as Kennedy or Roosevelt.

They re-elected Democrat Franklin Roosevelt even though over 50% of the electorate were registered Repubs.

Roosevelt was re-elected to his third term. He was a popular president. A fair and moral man of decency who deserved to be president of this nation. He led a fight against tyranny during WWII.

The war in Iraq is not even on the same scale as WWII. Your sense of history is warped by watching too much Hannity on Fox News. Bush does not deserve to lead this country for another day. Staying the course would be a disaster. What we need is someone to clean up the mess. John Kerry can do that job. Another four years of Bush would be a disaster for this nation.

Pres Bush has already demonstrated the necessary intellect to be Pres of the USA. Are you insinuating that Yale graduates students who have not earned their diploma?

PS: Formal education without common sense & character is worth nothing. Pres of USA needs a healthy balance of all 3. GW Bush fits the job requirements. Kerry lacks the necessary character & common sense. Trying to decide which of your wife's 5 houses to visit next, does not build character.
