RE: "...the huge amount of semi-equip gear delivered in the 99/00 bubble..."

In Q3 01, fab capacity was 1210.4 X 10^3 8" equivalent weekly wafer starts. In Q1 04, it was 1265.3. That is only a 4.5% increase. Meanwhile utilization was 64% in Q3 01 and 94% in Q1 04. I think wafer capacity, utilization, and equip revenues will start to tell us about this cycle when the Q2 04 data becomes available.

Don, re >I expect bookings growth to shadow semi revenue growth< that's what has happened historically and we have data to show it since 1995. Only the last two years were different.

What leads you to believe bookings growth until 2007 is very likely?
