Reagan a dim bulb? Only to change the course of human history in latter 20th century. It pales by comparison to YOUR incendiary intellect and accomplishment, but he did the best he could under the circumstances.

I used to think that Reagan was amongst the worst Presidents. Propped up the USSR for years with his 'evil empire' act. Iran-Contra - "I don't recall" S&L scandal - billions $$$ flushed Astrology-run policy Is this a movie or real life? What's the difference? But, then along came Bush II and made Reagan by comparison look absolutely brilliant. I miss the days of Reagan, and simple pre-senile incompetence, now that we are stuck with the evil self-absorbed boneheaded liars of the Bush administration.
