Just so I understand you correctly, you are saying that there is a "conspicuous difference" between Reagan and Bush. That much is abundantly clear. You seem to express that "conspicuous difference" as essentially that Reagan was known for "not appealing to our fears" and he apologized & that Bush is nothing like that at all. Is that how you perceive your perception of the "conspicuous difference" between Reagan & Bush?
