It's a little hard to tell since there's always a certain amount of editing for news shows.<<< Exactly! The penthouse appears to have a smaller footprint the top and comes down first. That is confirmed by the different cameras and angles sides shooting the building. That is also consistent with the center building supports being taken out first so that the building implodes towards its center...as it is also confirmed by the pile of remains after the collapse and minimal damage to surrounding buildings.
