The burden of proof was on Saddam to prove that he didn't have WMDs anymore. If he had behaved as Libya has done during the past year, there wouldn't have been an invasion.

They, along with several other countries did not want part in a war based solely on the premise of the illusive Weapons of Mass Destruction. They did not want to lose out on the BILLIONS of revenue they were getting doing business with the Butcher of Bagdad, that and stealing kids food via UN Foodscam...get a clue.

Time, and countless lives, has proved them right. There were no weapons of mass destruction. But of course you refuse to see the truth and prefer living in lies. Going after the Arabs is one thing. But going after them based on deception is something else. Don't criticize others for not allowing themselves to be so foolish. How can you ask such questions? Can't you see these poor souls are in deep mourning? R. Reagan was not French....that's answer enough for you. And after we take care of the Iraqis in 2 or 3 decades, we'll then have enough troops to go and wipe out the French. That's assumes, of course, that there will be some money left in the US Treasury. But we have lots of time to worry about that small detail. No worries!
